An Embellishment can be a "Tiny Treat"

Sometimes an embellishment can be a gift or a"tiny treat". This is a card that was posted a couple of years ago and I love how Marj Marion created this card's background using glossy blue and glossy white embossing pastes (DGBP and DGWP). She then sprinkled the paste-embossed turtle (LM179) with micro beads while the stencil was still in place. The background was also sprinkled with the micro beads and glitter as well. The small turtle on the little tag is a pewter embellishment. This will be our last week for our Tiny Treats challenge, you till have through the weekend to post something if you want to join the challenge. Over the last few years, since I began blogging...I have received many beautiful creations from my friends and fellow stencilers. What wonderful "treats" or gifts these have been. Thank you everyone!

I will be headed to Sacramento on Friday to teach at the Stamp ARt Shoppe in Roseville CA. Looking forward to seeing many of you there in my classes. I will be teaching some classic techniques and also be introducing some new products. CHA is just around the corner and I want you to know that the Saturday and Sunday before it begins (July 20 and 21) I will be presenting a Dreamweaver Teacher's Certification program at the Suncoast Casino in Las Vegas. If you are interested I would be happy to send you an application. I have only just now opened  it to the public so if you are interested please email me if you have questions at: lynell@dreamweaverstencils.com

Now be sure to see what kind of "tiny treats' the team have been creating this week. Follow the list at the bottom of my blog. Our team splits their posts into every other week and it is best to use this list to find the correct schedule. Also feel free to come back with your creation and post at the end of this blog message.

Marj's card is gorgeous!! It's like looking into an aquarium with all the blues and whites and sparkles from the micro beads. Great technique with great results!
